The book presents energy paradigm of geological processes. Part I is devoted to the evidence that aqua-complex of a general type [2SiO₃ – OH₂ – Mⁿ⁺M^m+O`<sub>4</sub>] (where n = 1, 2; m ≥ 3; O<sup>`</sup> is oxygen and other volatiles) is an informal counterpart of DNA in the mineral realm. Part II reveals, in terms of the aqua-complex concept, the evolutionary relationship between sedimentary, metamorphic and magmatic processes. The unified energetic nature of the formation of mineral deposits, regardless of their type, is illustrated. The practical aspects of the new theory are discussed in Part III. They address genesis, prospecting and exploitation of gold, platinum, petroleum and diamond deposits, construction industry, anomalous changes in climate and environment protection.

The book is intended for geologists, mining and civic engineers, climatologists, ecologists and other interested parties.
